Kailie & Thorben’s cross-cultural wedding day brought loved ones in from around the world to share in a blending of cultures and tradition. The couple, who lives in Berlin, Germany, planned the entire celebration abroad, and were delighted to see their loved ones enjoy their wedding day vision brought to life.
The girls got ready at the cottage house on site, enjoying fresh pastries and placing dried flowers in Kailie’s hair. The guys got dressed in Jorgensen’s men’s suite while enjoying some music a one another’s company.
The couple chose a first look to get the jitters out of the way, before sharing their vows at the end of the aisle. Unique to Thorben’s German culture, the two chose to do a Unity Ceremony where they poured a special "Radler." This was a mix of American Dr. Pepper and German Beer in a German Bier Stein that represented each of their cultures blending into one as they each took a sip.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed the Jorgensen grounds while the couple spent time mingling with their loved ones.
The reception hall was decorated with colorful florals, an elegant place setting and brought to life with laughter the whole night long.
