Love and Tradition: a Vibrant Greek Orthodox Wedding at the Athletic Club of Columbus

It's hard to find just the right words to explain how beyond fun celebrating Vanessa and Taylor was.

Vanessa had a clear vision for her wedding day early on, and one that all of her friends and family had a place in.

The morning started at the Leveque Tower hotel, with Vanessa and her girls getting ready in a bridal suite and Taylor getting ready with his guys nearby.

They wanted to do a first look at the Ohio State house, which turned into bridal portraits, and a quick tour of their reception hall before the ceremony.

At the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, their guests witnessed their traditional Orthodox Greek service, which included traditions such as the Crowning, Lambathes, and a mix of English and Greek language throughout the service.

Afterwards, the newly presented couple moved into family photos in the courtyard, and a brief cocktail hour at the athletic club of Columbus.

The reception was a masterpiece. Fresh flowers accompanied by the laughter of friends and family, as speeches were exchanged, as well as traditional Greek almonds, passed out by hand by Vanessa & Taylor to each table.

The dance floor was full of life as Greek traditional dances took place all night long along with I Heart Radio’s hottest dance floor songs.

But my personal favorite part, had to be the after party.

In the basement of their venue, their favorite midnight snack awaited the guests brave enough to linger for the fun. McDonald's cheeseburgers and fries, an open bar and bowling lanes to cap off the night.

Please join me in screaming congratulations to the beautiful Vanessa & Taylor Bennett.
